That was a joke.
I live in Asheville, North Carolina and between business, pleasure, or hobby I discovered I enjoy travel. Not the get-dropped-off-in-the-Amazon-with-a-machete-and-a-toothbrush kind of travel, but more the “Ooh, I’ve got four hours free, where can I go?” kind of travel.
I’ve been to Gatlinburg and not spent a cent. Which is quite a feat, or so I’m told. I went to Charleston, spent under thirty dollars and had blast.
My philosophy goes like this. Why fly half way around the world to travel when I haven’t even been to my backyard. Why travel cross country to see somewhere when I haven’t seen what’s next door. Not that I can’t appreciate what is cross country or around the globe. I plan to see them, just not yet.
This blog is the place I share what I’ve found with you. This is where you get Travel Intelligence — the low down on what’s out there, how to find it, and how to save money while you’re getting there.
I’ve lived in this area the better part of my life and I’m really good at finding information. But I’m really, really good at saving money and that’s part of what I’m going to help you do. Every day the President gets his Intelligence Briefing and six times a week I’ll provide you with yours.

As far as I know I’m using WordPress. I chose it because users don’t have to register before posting comments, but haven’t had any complaints.
