FESTIVAL: Enjoy Regal Theaters’ Film Festival All Summer Long

By D. Lanier Shook                                June 5, 2015

Going to a movie theater is a magical experience. Its a place where you are transported to another world entirely. Suddenly you realize just how big things like dinosaurs, spaceships, and the ocean really are. I remember watching Peter Jackson’s King Kong in the theater during the sequence atop the Empire State Building. Its really, really a long way down to the ground from that tower and I could feel every foot of it watching that big screen.

Kids enjoy going to the movies and Regal Entertainment Group knows this. That’s why their 2015 Summer Movie Express offers nine weeks of movies — two movies each week — beginning June 9 for only $1 each movie. Here’s what you and the kids can look forward to.

  •    Alexander and the Very Bad Day
  •     Annie
  •     The Book of Life
  •     The Boxtrolls
  •     Dolphin Tale 2
  •     Earth to Echo
  •     How To Train Your Dragon 2
  •     The Lego Movie
