ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT: The Dropbox is a Film Worth Checking Out

By D. Lanier Shook                        February 19, 2015

There are few things more precious than an infant. There are few things more disturbing than an infant in peril. And there are few things more heartwarming than stories of people who take the time to help rescue infants from peril.

That’s the story that The Dropbox shares. Every year far too many babies are abandoned on the streets of South Korea and one man has decided to do something about it. Lee Jong-rak has placed “dropboxes” where mothers can safely leave their infants instead of abandoning them in an unsafe location.

  1. This is similar to the law that says women can leave their infants at FIre Stations. It is heartbreaking. I checked to see if the movie is showing in my hometown and it is. I’ll suggest this as a group activity at my church. Thanks for sharing.
