This is Brad Spencer’s amazing brick sculpture on the side of the CVS at the corner of McBee and Main.
Earlier we shared about the amazing friezes of brick sculpture in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. On the corner of McBee and Main three examples of Brad Spencer’s work are on display. (You can click here to visit Brad Spencer’s homepage or click here to read about the other piece of art we shared.) There are three pieces in all, each detailing a part of downtown Greenville’s history.
This week’s sculpture focuses on the Kress department store. You can read the bronze plaque to the left of the sculpture by clicking here to watch an exciting YouTube video of the brick sculpture. And come back for Part 3.
