There are certain things that just say ‘Christmas.’ Red and green, snow, presents, and gingerbread. And gingerbread houses definitely are on that list. Which is good, since the National Gingerbread House Competition is back at the Grove Park Inn this year.
If you have never been to the event you need to go at least once. Even if you have been, you should go again. Either way, you’ll want to click here and visit the Competition’s website. The display opens on November 19, in about two weeks.
If you’re culinary-minded then entering the contest might be interesting, too. The Rules for entering are available on the website. You should also know there will be a $10 parking fee, half of which will be donated to local charity during the Holiday Season.
