Who doesn’t love airplanes? They’re exciting and fun. And this weekend the Greenville Downtown Airport is the place to be to celebrate all things that fly.
When you’re on Laurens Road (the Motor Mile) or the Haywood Mall the Greenville Downtown Airport is where all those airplanes come from or are going. Its also where the 2014 Southeast Aviation Expo will be held on Friday and Saturday. This event will be of interest to flight professionals, aerospace professionals, pilots, and aviation enthusiasts of all ages.
There will classes for aircraft pilots and mechanics. There will be lots of youth events for pilots to be. And there will displays for folks who just enjoy watching airplanes. There is also a $5 admission fee.
