Have you ever been to a really good ice cream shop? We’re talking about a really great local shop with awesome atmosphere and an incredible product. If you haven’t you need to visit the Hop. (If you have you should still visit the Hop.)
The Hop is an Asheville tradition that goes back nearly four decades. The current owners are committed to providing the best local ice cream (and their coffee’s pretty good, too) along with a venue for local events. You can click here to read about a book release party I attended at The Hop in West Asheville.
Over the next month and a half The Hop will host 13 different events in their two locations. Here’s just a little bit of what you can look forward to.
- Blue Ridge RollerGirls FundRaiser
- A book signing party by local author Jeff Hutchins with musical guest David LaMotte
- Face painting parties with Asheville Face and Body Art
- Julie Armbruster art opening to benefit Brother Wolf
To see the entire Calendar of Events with times, dates, and locations you’ll need to click here and visit The Hop’s Tumbler page. Of course the Hop also serves probably the best ice cream (and coffee) you’ve ever had so click here to visit their home page and check out their menu. Whatever flavor you choose you’ll enjoy the ice cream The Hop serves, the events The Hop hosts, and the warm welcome The Hop always offers their guests.
