Today is Thanksgiving and its healthy to pause and consider our blessings. During the next month you can pass those blessings on to others even as you check off your own holiday gift list. Today I’d like to tell you about several merchants who have banded together to help the Swannanoa Valley Transistional Housing ministry.
Swannanoa Valley Transistional Housing helps women from the Swannanoa Correctional Center for Women (SCCW) reenter society successfully. For more information about them you can click here to visit their website. Several merchants in the Swannanoa Valley have joined to help them in this mission.
The “12 Days of Shopping = GIVING” campaign donates a portion of the sales to the ministry. You’ll want to click here for a list of the merchants and the days they’ll be participating. This is a great opportunity to finish your Christmas shopping and help folks reenter society as productive citizens. Everybody needs a second chance.
