You need to know one thing about last week in NASCAR. Jimmie Johnson won his 6th championship. His first five were won consecutively, then he took two seasons off before coming back to win this one.
Coming in second was Matt Kenseth with Kevin Harvick the third. If Jimmie Johnson can win two more championships he’ll be right up there with Dale Earnhardt, Senior and Richard Petty. Although some NASCAR fans may not agree, we offer our congratulations to Mr. Johnson.
Donovan McNabb basically said that you weren’t an athlete if you just hold a steering wheel. With all due respect to Mr. McNabb, driving around Atlanta is stressful enough. If you’re going up to twice that fast, with other cars going just as fast, you have to stay out in front, and some of those guys don’t mind wrecking — well, that requiring training, skill, and stamina. However, Jimmie Johnson apparently is also a triathlete and can run a six minute mile. I guess this guy doesn’t like slowing down.
