ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT: Knoxville is the Place to Find Fine Arts in Two Weeks

By D. Lanier Shook                                                               October 3, 2013

We’re entering an incredibly busy part of the year. Thanksgiving will be coming up shortly and then you’ll have to prepare for Christmas. If you’re going to enjoy special events they’ll need to be close by, worth your time, and hopefully not cost you an arm and a leg.

That describes the Foothills Craft Guild’s Annual Fine Craft Fair in Knoxville. On the weekend of November 15 through 17 you’ll get the chance to see what the finest artisans in East Tennessee have produced in the past year. You’ll also be able to enjoy demonstrations of craft work including glass blowing. All of this is only two hours away and very affordable(the parking is free). You can even print out a coupon from the website by clicking here.

You can click here for all the details about the Craft Fair. To see why the Fair is worth going to just click here to view a gallery of the artists’ work. Then you can start planning for the day trip to Knoxville.
