ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT: Catch The Turn of The Screw in Hendersonville This Halloween

By D. Lanier Shook                       October 9, 2013

Are you a fan of ghost stories? I’m not talking about the new horror films, but old fashioned ghost stories. The kind that stick in your head and make you wonder.

If you do then you are going to love Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw. Its a story that may or may not be a ghost story — or it may just be the overwrought imagination of an overprotective — and over imaginative — governess. If you’ve seen the movie or read the book you know what I’m talking about and you know why I’m suggesting you see it at Hendersonville’s Little Theater.

On October 18 they’ll have the first of eleven performances, which will occur at 7:30 each evening. This doesn’t include a performance on Halloween night at 11 p.m. For all the information click here to visit their website.
