Two weeks ago Bele Chere probably ended forever, but you still have reason to cheer. The North Carolina Apple Festival is coming to Hendersonville in about two weeks. If you’ve ever been then you’re already counting down the days and if you’ve never been, well, you should go.
The first thing to do is click here to visit the Festival’s official website. This will tell you where each part of the fun is. They’ve got a parade, car show, pancake breakfast, and of course, apples.
Each day features several different music groups who’ll bring you beach music, Elvis tributes, newgrass, big band music, rock, pop, and so much more. To get a feel for what you can expect check out these links to each day’s schedule:

The Festival highlights the best of Henderson County and you can find out about all of that by clicking here to read the Festival’s brochure. That’s where you’ll learn about the kiddie carnival, the airplane rides, the orchard tours, and so much more. You gotta check out the awesome brochure.
Of course, Hendersonville is a great place to visit any day of the year. It’s only fifteen minutes from Asheville and full of surprises and shopping. If you haven’t been recently you should click here to read my article about downtown Hendersonville.
