Its Thursday again and I want you to click here to visit the Orange Peel’s home page. You’ve go to check out what’s coming up so you can get your tickets early. That’s the only way you can be sure you’ll get to see what you want.
Tonight the Peel will host the Slice of Life Comedy Open Mic at the PULP, below the Orange Peel. For $5 you can show why you should replace Seth Meyers on SNL. Click here for all the info.
On Friday Ike Stubblefield will be at the Peel. This man has been singing for fifty years and has sung with some of the greatest names in the industry. He’ll actually be in London’s Soho district later this summer. To hear his sound, buy his CD, and see where else he’ll be click here to visit his site.
Mr. Stubblefield will be joined by Jeff Santiago y Los Gatos Negros, a local band that’s enjoyed a rise in visibility lately. They’ve been featured on local radio 98.1 The River, WNCW, and played at Warren Haynes Christmas Jam. For more information about this great group, where they’ll be playing, and to see a video of them click here to visit their website. Tickets are $10, the doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m..
On Saturday you can enjoy yoga in the morning, European Football (that’s soccer to most of us on this side of the Atlantic) live on TV at the PULP in the afternoon, and the The 7th Annual Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival that night at the Peel. For more information about all these exciting events click here to visit the Orange Peel’s website.
As always I have to encourage you to click here and visit the Orange Peel’s website. They work hard to put up great blogs, podcasts, and photos and its out duty to check them. Hey, it’s hard work, but somebody’s got to do it.
