Well its the weekend again and tonight The Infamous Stringdusters are at the Orange Peel playing next generation bluegrass and folk rock. They’ll be accompanied by ALO , a piano funk band that’s going places. According to their web site they’ve been in Brooklyn, Boston, Washington and Raleigh. (Get it, going places. Its, oh, never mind.) And they’ll be playing again the next two nights. Wow! The show starts at 8:30 and doors open at 7:30. Its $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
Tomorrow night is an example of why I’m right and you need to do what I say.

In all seriousness Saturday Jack White is at the Orange Peel and its sold out. He’ll even have the Alabama Shakes with him. All the chatter I’ve heard says this is the place to be on Saturday night but if you didn’t get tickets early enough, you won’t be there. While I am sorry its your fault for not doing what I’ve been saying. Visit the Orange Peel website. Not only is it really awesome but it will also tell you all the awesome folks they have coming.
Sunday night is going to be a real treat. At 2:00 Sunday afternoon the doors to the Orange Peel will open for the 2:30 Release Show of Secret Agent 23 Skidoo’s new CD make Believers. Not only will there there will be more than six other artists there but the admission price is only $6 and kids under 3 get in free. This is an incredible bargain and sounds like loads of fun.
